Assisted Living
St. Leonard is dedicated to the service of others and carries on this tradition by offering an assisted care program tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Our specialized programs not only provide help with activities of daily living but respect for residents who wish to remain independent for as long as possible. Customized assistance offer residents a way to prolong their independent lifestyle and participate in decision making regarding the specific services important to them.
Assessment to identify level of assistance/care required ensures safety, comfort and independence. Lending a “helping hand” while preserving the respect and dignity of our residents is our goal.
Some of our assisted living services include: twenty-four hour nursing care, personal care assistance, three nutritious meals per day, medication assistance, housekeeping services, nutrition counseling, therapy as needed, short term respite care and access to outstanding activities and programs.
Individually controlled heating and air conditioning in each private room with call systems for assistance give the Assisted Care area the privacy residents need.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia – Within the Assisted Living area there is a Memory Support Unit created specifically for the memory support of those experiencing early to mid-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our Memory Support Unit was created to allow these residents freedom within the safe boundaries of a secure environment.
