Memory Support Unit

Within the Assisted Living area there is a Memory Support Unit created specifically for those experiencing early to mid-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our Memory Support Unit was created to allow these residents freedom within the safe boundaries of a secure environment. Here the programming, staffing, and over-all care are based on the need of each particular cognitive disorder diagnosis.

When you visit you’ll know the satisfaction that comes from feeling the total commitment of care given at St. Leonard. Admission and level of care determination is based upon an assessment of care needed for each resident. Assessments are performed by St. Leonard nursing personnel.
